Most of my clients travel a minimum of two hours to work with me. For many, it’s more like four hours round trip. Just last week, I photographed families and couples from Miami, Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, Florida all in the same week! I love this, and here’s why. I am not the only Miami beach couple photographer, I’m one of thousands. When people choose to spend four hours in the car driving all the way to the other coast where I live (in Southwest Florida), it means their intentions for hiring me are genuine. They didn’t choose me because I’m the most convenient or the most affordable, they chose me because they want ME! They love my work and my personality and believe I am worth traveling for. There’s nothing we photographers love more than this. Knowing that our clients trust us allows us the freedom to create what we were hired to create, pure magic!

This couple was recently engaged and wanted to do something a little different for their engagement photoshoot. I was totally on board. Steamy couple sessions are so fun. We get to crank up the music and really let loose. We chose Marco Island for the location since it was almost exactly in the middle of us. The blue water paired with the shell-covered beach created the perfect atmosphere for these spicy photos! We were lucky to have some waves on this day. Depending on the tide, waves aren’t always present so I was thrilled when we arrived and I saw them lapping against the shore.

If being photographed while getting hot and steamy on the beach, isn’t your style, no worries. I like to create an experience that’s unique for each of my clients. Maybe you and your partner are foodies and spend most of your evenings trying new restaurants downtown. Perhaps an urban vibe would be more fun. We could pop in and out of a few restaurants and breweries stopping to snap pictures in unique places along the way. Maybe you’re outdoorsy and love to explore the mangroves in your kayaks, I see a fun adventurous session in your future! Maybe you just love to snuggle on the couch and watch your favorite tv shows. An in-home session would be so fun! My goal is to tell your story. To create images that make you feel something. So when you look back at these images, you will remember this time in your life.
