In a mad rush to get this session in before hurricane Ian hit Southwest Florida, I moved this session to sunrise. It was actually scheduled to take place at the Sanibel Causeway beach park on the day the hurricane completely destroyed that bridge. I’m so thankful these clients were all for moving this session up and to Englewood Beach near Manasota Key and North Port where they were staying. There’s no better way to start your day than watching the sunrise and taking a dip in the ocean, all while a talented Englewood Beach Photographer (Yours truly *cough, cough*) documents these special moments. Here are a few of my favorites from this sunrise photoshoot in Englewood, Florida.
This Englewood Beach photographer is a little spoiled because this area is home to extremely clear water (unlike what you’ll get about an hour south in Naples). This morning, the ocean was especially calm making it even more clear. I loved this part of the session the most as this couple really came alive when the pressure was off and they were just playing on the beach. I always tell my clients to ignore me but it usually takes a little bit for them to relax and be present in the moment. Having your picture made can be intimidating so I work with each couple to help them feel comfortable so they can let their guard down.
