All first birthday and cake smash sessions take place in my studio in Southwest Cape Coral, just a short drive from Fort Myers and surrounding areas. The studio is calm and neutral so your baby remains the focus.

A Thoughtfully Designed Session

We begin each session by focusing entirely on your little one. Before the cake comes out, we capture those sweet details you never want to forget. Little rolls, tiny fingers and toes, curious expressions, and the way they sit or toddle at this stage. These images are classic and pure.

Next, we transition into a simple all white outfit for more polished portraits. We incorporate minimal, neutral toys that bring out personality while keeping the look timeless. These portraits are perfect for framing in your home or including in an album.

We finish with the cake smash. This part is playful, messy, and always full of personality. Cakes are created by Lady Cakes in Cape Coral and are designed in soft neutrals with minimal icing to reduce sugar while still giving us that beautiful cake smash look.

When to Book Your Fort Myers Cake Smash Photographer

It is never too soon to get on my calendar. Many families reserve their session several months in advance to ensure availability and allow time for planning and cake design.

At a minimum, I recommend reaching out at least two months before your child’s first birthday.

You also do not need to line up the session date perfectly with their birthday. Some families prefer to photograph a few weeks before turning one so images are ready for a party. Others choose to schedule a month or even a couple of months after the birthday when life feels less hectic. The goal is to choose a time that feels calm and enjoyable for your family.
