It’s official, Key Largo has my heart! I couldn’t imagine leaving this tropical paradise without doing a session. From funky trees to clear water and lush greens, this is everything I want in a Key Largo photoshoot location. It’s no wonder the Keys are a top vacation destination! Couples and families flock to this area to swim, snorkel, relax and recharge – there is so much to do here! As a Florida photographer located near the coast, I primarily work with couples and families on vacation. When I had the opportunity to shoot with this couple at one of my favorite resorts in the upper keys, I was thrilled!

Don’t get me wrong, I love a golden hour photoshoot but that’s not always possible – sometimes because of scheduling, sometimes because of the weather. But with so much color at this beautiful location already, we didn’t really need the orange glow from the sun to make this session magical. Overcast skies allowed this adventurous couple to sleep in before we started shooting around 10:30 am. And oh how special it was to custom tailor this session (including the styling) to their likes and interests. It was the perfect way for them to document and remember this trip.

I love to assist clients with styling and planning. In order to tell their story, I need to get to know them. To learn how they spend their free time and what’s important to them. This couple loves to travel and experience new things. They also love the ocean and wanted a slightly bohemian vibe for this Key Largo Photoshoot. The location paired with the outfits created exactly the look we were going for!
