Sometimes it can be storming all around you but things are calm right where you are. That’s exactly what happened on this stormy evening in Fort Myers. The beach was almost deserted as all the vacationers had packed up for the day. Even though we could see rain and lightning out in the distance, things were calm where we were. I can’t help but think about the similarities to bringing a new life into the world. Chaos, fear and excitement are accompanied by the joy you feel knowing that in a few months you will hold the most precious thing in your arms. I’m so thankful to be the photographer who had the honor of capturing these announcement photos for this stunning couple. Here are some of my favorite shots!
