This particular session took place near Estes Park, Colorado while I was in town teaching a photography workshop. Having worked with this family during one of there vacations to Fort Myers, FL, I was trilled to photograph them closer to their home.
I chose a location that I knew would allow for unposed moments. Whether I’m shooting in Southwest Florida where I’m based, or elsewhere, I’m always drawn to locations with water. The stream, the fallen tree and rocks of all sizes created multiple storytelling opportunities.
