It’s a very special thing to be an emotive family photographer. For just a few hours, I get to see your family. I mean really see your family. Everyone’s uniqueness on full display. My job isn’t just to show and take your family photos, it’s to create an environment where you and your littles feel comfortable being who you are. No need to put on a show, force smiles or be someone you’re not. I prepare you for a calm, fun night where we’ll explore a beautiful place and just be present with each other.

If you have multiple children, you know they all have their quirks. One may be shy and the other outgoing. Maybe they feed off of each other which and be equally adorable and frustrating is they’re teaming up against you. My goal is to document your family so that everyone’s personality shines through the images. If you look closely, you can notice other details like the paint on the dad’s hands. This dad has paint on his hands because he has been working hard to provide for his family. I imagine there’s rarely a time when he doesn’t have paint on his hands. As a result, this has become part of his identity. And one day, when his children are grown, they will remember their daddy’s paint-covered hands, and all that those hands did for them.

THIS is what I aim to capture. The little things. Because one day those little things won’t be there anymore but your photos will.
