Unconventional Family portraits are my absolute favorite. As a lifestyle photographer in Fort Myers, there’s a lot of pressure to shoot at the beach. And while I love documenting families on the beach during sunset, and that’s what most people book me for, I also love photographing families in more urban settings like downtown Fort Myers, Florida.

This session was so much fun to style and photograph. This family previously booked me for beach portraits but we decided to do something a little different for this session. I loved getting to flex my creative muscles. All items from their shoes to the checkered blanket were selected to create this fun, casual vibe. I knew downtown Fort Myers was the perfect backdrop for a photoshoot of this nature.
